Description

A Nauticat 331 needs no further introduction. This is a classic motorsailer that has delivered safe sailing and high quality for decades. The boat model has been carefully developed over the years up to this model without losing its essence. For example, the hull has been developed with a split lateral plane for better sailing characteristics and the interior has been opened up with a more cozy salon. The Nauticat 331 has dual steering positions, inside the wheelhouse and on the aft "poop deck". Above this aft steering position, there is also a spray hood that protects the steering position when seated, as well as the rest of this space which serves as a small cockpit. The steering is hydraulic and the controls are duplicated so that the boat can be easily and comfortably operated from both steering positions (although only one at a time, so to speak :)) Aft in the boat, the owner has a private cabin. Here is a double bed and plenty of storage. In the wheelhouse, in addition to the inner steering position with all instruments, there is a lovely salon. The salon's sofa can accommodate a full crew for a nice dinner or gathering. Compared to previous models, the area above the galley has been opened up to bring in light and space. The galley is well-equipped with double sinks, stove with oven, a large refrigerator, and plenty of storage. To port, there is a toilet with its own shower cabin. The floor in the toilet and shower is typically clad in mosaic in true Nauticat style. In the bow, there is a nice double berth and on this 331, there is an additional solution that makes the berth larger by also covering the seating area. This insert is easy to put in or remove. The whole boat has good and ample storage and is remarkably spacious for a 33-foot classic pointed hull, inspired by workboats of the time. "Improved classic" may be a somewhat cliché expression, but for the Nauticat 331, this is very much true. This Nauticat 331 from 1997 has a solid level of equipment from when it was new, as well as a number of updates made during the past year in the current ownership. The third owner is selling. The boat was sold as new to Holland and was then bought by a Swede who owned the boat for thirteen years, from whom the current owner bought the boat. With a Nauticat 331, you get a long season on the sea in the utmost comfort.
