Description

The legendary MONSUN 31 of the Swedish Hallberg Rassy shipyard, from 1982, as no. 808 one of the youngest models of the series. Dimensions 9.36 x 2.87 x 1.42 m, 4200 kg. Caringly maintained/very good condition, equipped for single-handed sailing. Abundant equipment. 5 berths. Very reliable Nanny Diesel 3-cyl. 2-circuit, hp/kw 27/20, from 2005, approx. 1040 operating hours, shaft drive. As a long keeler absolutely ocean-going, safe in rough weather, comfortable for crew. MONSUN-31 sister ships sailed around the world, crossed oceans; one of them is the only GRP yacht in a museum. As a Hallberg Rassy, a most solid and sturdy construction, designed by the world famous Olle Enderlein. A beautiful classic. The new Norwegian bow thruster (from Sleipner) from 2021 makes the long keeler extremely maneuverable even in crowded harbors. Boat berth/mooring in a Fehmarn harbor (can be taken over, also winter storage in a hall; all nautical craftspeople and businesses on site). Winter storage trestle included in purchase price. Eur 39.900,- Hull and deck: GRP; rigging: Selden. Teak wood on gangways & forecastle, in cockpit & on bathing platform; teak cockpit table. Underwater hull coated 5 times with Gelshield Epoxy! Regular antifouling (annually). Seacocks/valves renewed in 2019/2020. Tiller steering; engine single lever gear shift; regularly serviced engine (annually) from 2005. Fresh water 100 l, fuel 100 l; one wet cell with WC from 2005. Bow cabin, salon with wood paneling, 5 berths. Pantry with sink, electric hob, 2-burner gas cooker, cool box; pots & pans - all there. Technical equipment: 220 V sockets; anchor, anchor locker, electric bow anchor winch; new batteries (2021), charger, bilge pump; electric heating; bow thruster new from 2021 with a clever remote control/remote transmitter and 62-90 kg-force thrust. Navigation: depth sounder, GPS, log, VHF-radio set, weather radio receiver, GPS plotter with new chart sets (2022), autopilot. Safety: bow and stern pulpit, night lights, sea railing. Halyards and reefs are operated safely and conveniently from cockpit. Sails: sloop rigging, roller furling, jib, gennaker, genoa new (only used 1 time), lazy bag/lazy jacks, mainsail, additional self-tacking jib, spinnaker pole, spinnaker equipment, winches, additional sails are older but absolutely o.k., boom vang, aluminum boom, backstay tensioner, sail area 39 m2. Sprayhood, fixed windscreen, camper top/“cake house”, anchor chain, bathing platform (teak) with ladder, deck hatches, fenders, cushions, etc. To be sold ready to sail with a heavy heart due to health/age reasons.
