The Hallberg-Rassy 44 is the first of a new generation of fast, comfortable cruising yachts from the renowned Swedish boat builder. German Frers has optimised the waterline with the plumb bow and upright transom giving excellent passage making times. The fixed bowsprit gives the stemhead clearance for anchoring and the perfect tack for an asymmetric and the lowering platform from the transom gives great bathing access and a dinghy dock.The beam is carried further aft improving performance with the wind aft of the beam and the twin rudders give finger-tip control on the helm at all points of sail.
