It's not only a statement of style but also a highly functional vessel, offering a balance of performance and comfort that appeals to discerning boaters seeking both adventure and elegance on the water.Owners CommentsOur dream was to purchase a fast, performance boat, an open walkaround boat that we could safely walk around whilst underway. We also wanted a boat that was suitable to have long weekends, longer cruising holidays, a bathroom (head), large double bed, additional bed as required, and be able to continue with our hobbies, waterskiing, scuba diving, fishing, picnics and swimming in remote coves etc. We did our research and decided upon a Jeanneau Cap Camaret, and during our search, a selling agent pointed out a Sessa Key Largo that they had for sale. This boat was unfamiliar to us, and we had never seen one. It was a little pricier than the similar Cap Camaret but we went and took a look. We were absolutely overwhelmed by her beauty and craftsmanship, made an offer and paid the deposit immediately. Being an Italian boat she had all of the smart designs and refinement you would expect from Italian engineering, from specified white Yamaha outboard engines, through to a glass ceramic bathroom basin. Every single part of her had been skilfully designed and engineered to make her a ‘wow’ boat that truly stands out from the crowd. Being Cat B: ‘Design Category B recreational boats designed for conditions up to and including wind force 8, and up to and including wave height of 4 metres’, we knew she would be capable to withstand larger seas safely, should the weather turn, a great benefit when crossings the channel. She cruises nicely at 22-26 knots but will easily reach speeds of up to 38-40 knots, again, you know if the weather turns that you can quickly get yourself back to safety. Her almost new touch-screen Axiom GPS/Chartplotter and linked AIS and VHF radio, make navigating simple and safe. She is a real head turner and gains numerous complements wherever we go, including harbour staff who often say, ‘wow I have never seen one of these before, what is she’? When we say what she is, and her build date, people are flabbergasted as she looks immaculate and totally up to date, as if she were built only yesterday. We have even been in bars overlooking her anchored in a bay and overheard things like, ‘please can we have one of those, she’s beautiful, she just looks like something from the med.’When friends and family come on board they cannot believe her build quality, and how sociable and comfortable she is, especially due to her entire bow being laid to a customised sun lounging cushion, with plenty of space for leisurely afternoons. All her cushions and seating areas were upgraded by her previous owner; these are in a lovely quick drying/easy clean and tough, marine fabric, and the fusion music system, which lights up blue in the evenings means she is a fantastic socialising boat. She has a deceptive amount of storage, again, very clever design, and the bow thruster, also installed by her previous owner, makes her very manoeuvrable in tight harbours and pontoons. The outside table can be removed and capped off, when more cockpit space is required for activities such as scuba diving or doing a little fishing. The cockpit table can also be dropped and a cushion applied on top to give another sun lounging area. There are two bimini’s the original beige one, plus a new extended bimini (in black), meaning you can cover from the windscreen down beyond the back of the dining area seats (in front of the engines), or it can be opened in sections to say just cover the front or the back seats as required. Cooking can be done either inside (microwave grill), or the outside gas ring. Cleaning, washing up can done in either the inside or outside sink. She also benefits from an outside fridge as well as the fridge/freezer inside, and an outside hot water shower as well as the one in the bathroom. Being an Italian boat that is not distributed in the UK she is a rare treat to behold, and we are so grateful to the salesman who pointed her out to us, as she is in a different league to similar type boats. It is with heavy hearts that we are offering her for sale, a larger boat has tempted us and will hopefully see us through our retirement years. We love the key largo dearly and have made such happy memories on her. We have lots and lots of photos; more images can be provided.
