The X4.6 has a high ballast ratio, which means, safe, fast and pointing very high upwind. The hull is made in epoxy (vacuum infusion), this is lighter, stronger, gives a better finish and makes osmosis impossible. There is a water proof compartment in the front of the boat. X-Yachts is well known for there steel frame integrated in the hull. Hull and deck are made in sandwich construction, with a composite keel with lead bulb. On deck four Performa 50.2 STP two speed selftailingwinches, (upgrade from the standard winches), Rod rigging, furling system, flush hatches, teak in the cockpit, German mainsheet system, hydraulic backstay, Electrical anchor windlass with 20 kg Delta anchor and 50 meter chain (upgrade). Coolbox, shorepower with 50 amp/hr charger, 3 x 110 amp 12v AGM batteries + 1 x 70 amp. Engine battery. Holding tanks, shower in the cockpit, gas springs on the cockpit lockers, electrical bilgepump with sensor + manual pump. Single line reefing, all spectra halyards, integrated rail for selftacking jib, boiler, Corian work space in galley. Water tanks 360 liter, diesel tank 280 liter. Yanmar 80 hp engine (upgrade from standard) with saildrive and three bladed folding propeller (extra). The interior is in high quality oak, the floor in teak.
