Number 5 of only 18 built with hull, deck and spars in carbon fiber. One of the few built with a full cruising interior and the only one originally fully adapted to the European market (220V). This yacht has been sailed primarily and has been maintained and updated to the highest level by the current owner. This 48-foot yacht is an eye-catcher both on the water and in port with high and easy speed, comfort, stability and ... great looks! Ilderim is a 48 foot carbon fiber cruiser-racer that is fast, easy to handle and comfortable. Sailing against the wind at a speed of 8 knots or double digits on a range in only moderate winds is no exception for the Ilderim, combined with a feeling of great stability and control, conveyed through responsive steering. The J/145 is still the fastest J/boat ever built with all the amenities one could want and the handling of a 40-foot yacht. Both the hull and deck are built with durable, high-tech laminate with carbon fiber and E-glass skins and Baltek Superlight 45 core (hull) and high-density foam (deck) infused with the patented SCRIMP system using high vacuum levels, resulting in a very strong, yet lightweight construction with an amazing strength-to-weight ratio. This allows a high ballast to displacement ratio of 45% with a very low center of gravity and a limit of positive stability above 130 degrees. Also based on a keel with lead bulb and a flange to connect to the hull with four times the interface area of a normal fin keel - leading to much greater structural strength in the event of grounding.
