Diana III. The ship is built in 1964 for Hans Albrecht, Skovshoved, Denmark. She is designed by Sparkman and Stephens, New York and built by Aage Walsted Shipyard, Thurø, Denmark. She is a sloop designed for the One Ton Cup, of the RORC with a IOR II rating of 22 ft. rule. LOA 10,98 m Beam 2,92 m Draft 1,86 m Displ. 7,20 t The hull is mahogny planking on laminated oak timbers. The keel is lead, and the deck is teak planks on plywood. In 1965 Hans Albrect became the winner of the first One Ton Cup under the International Offshore Rule, in Le Havre, France, sailing his new boat Diana III. In 1969 he rebuilt the keel and the helm and formed a spaderudder with a skeg. In 1988 he changed the mast and rigging by adding 0,9 meter.
