Najad 343 from 1982 with renovated teak deck. A real classic from the Swedish Najadværft on the island Örust. The boat was purchased by the current owner in the fall of 2017, and has since been renovated for a planned long trip, which unfortunately has been canceled. The last thing missing is an ongoing renovation to the teak deck. It is "born with" 12 mm. teak planks, so there is plenty of thickness left. During May 2019 the teak will appear as (almost) new. The previous owner was close to 90 years old, and has therefore not sailed much the last 10-15 years. In fact, since the new, more powerful engine from 1999 was fitted. The Elvstrøm sails from 2012 are therefore also "as new". The last thing the previous owner paid for was a new bottom (new epoxy and bottom paint) at Nordbjerg in Skovshoved. The current owner has the boat standing indoor in Faaborg, where the following has been replaced / repaired: New foot switches for anchor winch. New relay for anchor winch. New water hoses everywhere. Almost new wiring. New electric board. New electric bilge pump. New Wictron battery charger New Jabsco electric toilet. New Whale water pump with accumulator tank. New renovated water tank (220 liters) in the keel. Several new hull penetrations. New bottom valves. New 20 liter Sigmar hot water tank with mixer. New gas regulator and gas alarm. New curtains. The boat's interior is perfect for a family on a long journey - or for one or two families on a summer trip. There are 7 bunks in total. Two in the front cabin, two in main cabin and three in the large aft cabin. There is a large pantry with passage from main to aft cabin. There is a cooling box and stove with oven and 2 sinks. There is full standing height in the saloon (195 cm), which is equipped with a large fold-out table with ample room for 7 people. In the high cockpit, you are safe in all weather - protected by the fixed windscreen. There is a small fixed flap-up table and a larger table that can be mounted as needed. The autopilot is an Autohelm 5000 with belt drive. No new instruments have yet been installed, so the new owner can choose on his own request. There is a Furlex roller and self-tailing Lewmar winches as well as hydraulic rear stay. The mainsheet traveler is placed behind the cockpit and has powerful Wichard blocks. The original steering wheel has been replaced with a larger one with suede coating. The spinnaker rod is located at the front of the mast. The engine is a four cylinder Volvo MD 22L that provides 59 hp. at 2,500 rpm. The driveline is with fixed shaft with a three-leaf Flexofold folding propeller. The powerful engine combined with a bow thruster with its own battery in the cabin, ensures good maneuverability under all conditions. In addition, there are three powerful Vision consumer batteries and a separate Tudor engine battery. The anchor winch can be operated from the cockpit as well as from the foot switches on the front deck. At ....
