Rare classic Hallberg Rassy in super good condition New sails and refurbished engine An attractive boat in exceptionally good condition. Fiberglass hull and superstructure in well-kept mahogany. A beautiful boat that sails well and safely. New sails from 2021 Renovated engine with new cylinder head and gearbox in 2015. Are you for a stable and safe boat in fiberglass, but want the wooden boat's charm, good craftsmanship, beautiful lines and good sailing properties, a stable boat where the family can feel safe and a boat where there is the space needed, still slim enough to find space in an otherwise crowded harbor, then this beautiful and incredibly well-kept copy of the Hallberg Rassy P28 is what you are looking for. The boat is equipped for single-handed sailing, with all halyards led to the cockpit. The boat, which has been in the family's possession for more than 20 years, is continuously maintained, and lots of small improvements and major and minor upgrades have been made, including engine and sails. Stored in a heated place every winter. Sjönheten is built as number 529 out of 534. One of the few with a positive stern, and thus a slightly longer waterline and a hull of 30 feet (9.09m). With its low draft of only 1.30m and beam of only 2.37m, it finds moorings even in the crowded marinas. In 2015, the engine was replaced with a newly renovated Yanmar 2GM20, with 100% new cylinder head and gearbox. The engine runs smoothly and starts every time. In 2020, the sails were replaced with new ones from Elvstrøm. On the same occasion, a lazyjack with a zipper was added, so the sails have never been ruined by being tied tightly around the boom. New boom in 2013 that contains reefing system to handle reefing from the cockpit, no hands on deck. A safe experience, especially if you are suddenly in more wind than expected. Many are warned against buying a boat with wood. Yes, there is a bit of maintenance, but it is no more than if the superstructure had been of fiberglass. The varnish is in extremely good condition, so a maintenance layer can be done in approx. 2 x 3 hours. It is not difficult and for many it is very satisfying. With the fiberglass hull, you get the charm of the wooden boat and the cheaper and easier maintenance of the fiberglass boat. • A boat that is rarely offered for sale in this maintenance condition. • Suitable beginner boat, or a boat for the connoisseur. • Practical solutions that allows the small family to go on even longer trips • Narrow boat that sails well and safely, and can usually find space in an otherwise crowded harbor • Good anchor gear and a large battery bank • Well equipped • Brand new sails and relatively newly renovated engine mean that you do not have to worry about it for many years Call or write for a test sailing, equipment list and more photos
